  • David, Artist, from Italy, November 2014. David stayed at Stream Garden for three weeks. He writes:

3 weeks went by and I feel different.

I have reconnected with living forces. I am ready to move on with my life.

Stream Garden offers a unique and ideal place for retreat. The lush, wild environment has been very inspiring. The peaceful atmosphere has helped me to deeply relax and re-balance.

Every morning from my bedroom window, I observed the mist , enchanting in the surrounding hills and nurturing introspection.

I signed up for the Detox Program. Chamras, the facilitator, has wide knowledge on plants, herbs and natural healing. I feel fully recharged and cleansed after the program.

The food is outstanding. The cooks are composing with fresh herbs, veggies and fruits from the organic garden. A wide range of tasty, healthy and very colourful meals are presented every day.

The Stream Garden Team has kindly offered assistance whenever requested. The founder and owners live here, it is their home; they are very passionate and devoted to the place.

An extensive collection of Krishnamurti’s Teaching is available. I enjoyed watching a K dvd every evening.

What I like most about the retreat is that I was able to spend time alone, reading and meditating, as well as sharing time with others and exchanging.

Exciting journey, a white page and immense possibilities.

  • Martin, EntrepreneurJanuary 2014, from Denmark, our guest for three weeks at the beginning of this year, says:

“The ultimate retreat place”

“I visited Stream Garden in January 2014 for 3 weeks and I have never been a place that was better suited for meditation, contemplation and recharging your batteries than this – and I’ve tried a lot! The accommodation consists of simple and gorgeous spotlessly clean huts situated on Meditation Hill, all with breathtakingly beautiful views overlooking the rainforest. The vegetarian whole grains food was varied, delicious and nurturing (one guest said it was like a five star restaurant in London but with more love added – and I tend to agree! Fresh herbs and teas straight out of their own organic garden). Add swimming in the stream, running in the rainforest and the serene meditation hall on top of the hill as well as the opportunity to have your meals served separately if your prefer to stay in total silence (which I did for two weeks) and I don’t think it gets closer to heaven :-)”

  • Tico, Dr. in Bio Chemistry from Holland February 2014  was with us for two weeks at the beginning of February and then came back again for a few days at the at the end of the month. He says:

“Stream Garden – Dream Garden!”

“This is the second time I stayed at Stream Garden and when it is time to go you don’t want to; Stream Garden is a magnificent sanctuary, a haven of peace and tranquility. The stillness, the subtle sounds of nature during tropical nights are penetrating your being and make you forget whatever is on your mind. The centre consists (amongst others) of a collection of cottages where guests can stay – each have their own private view on the surrounding hills, and make you forget the rest of the world. The comfortable cottages can be rented at a very reasonable rate which includes lodging and three delicious vegetarian meals per day. Stream Garden is a friendly and hospitable place. I have enjoyed a tremendously relaxing time, walks in the surrounding forests and daily swims in the clean stream that was the inspiration for the name of Stream Garden. I was so relaxed that returning to the Big City was felt as a shock and made me feel wanting to go back. I will, whenever I can in the future.”
